International teacher Victor Hernandez has been sharing his love and passion for Yoga for the last decade. He has been sharing his classes in studios and retreats across Europe, Africa and Asia, and for the past three years, he has specialized in helping and training new yoga teacher aspirants across Asia and Europe.
‘I first came in contact with Yoga around twelve years ago and it did not take me very long to realize the many benefits that the practice brought to my life, not only to the body but also to the mind’ – says Victor asked how he discovered Yoga.
Victor has pursued his education in a variety of Yoga styles such as Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yoga Therapy and Yin yoga, completing a total of 1000hrs of Teacher Training in Rishikesh, Kerala, Goa and Dharamshala. As well as his Indian education, he has studied with top class teachers in London and with his guru Jani Jaatinen in Malaysia, developing an understanding and creating a style that binds the best of both, the traditional ancient lineage eastern and the modern scientific western approach.
His Yoga classes are inclusive, explorative and with a focus on the mind/body connection, proper alignment and safe adjustments as a way of helping students to deepen their practice. He firmly believes that Yoga goes beyond the practice on the mat and naturally develops into a lifestyle and a path that includes the way we breathe, think and act. Victor considers that everyone’s yoga journey is unique and personal and he prides himself in helping his students to explore and develop their own experience of Yoga.
‘My Yoga classes aim to increase vitality and promote and maintain health by targeting the improvement of overall strength, flexibility and posture as well as regaining and attaining self consciousness. A safe space to reunite with one self, explore and allow the body and mind to catch up with each other in a world that is always buzzing, fast moving and fast changing’.
